Tanya Sama Pokok.............

Pagi tadi berborak dengan Umi over the phone. Umi bukak cerita yang sekolah dia baru selesai 'dibersihkan' oleh 'Ghost buster' dari Darul Syifa'.  According to her, rupanya Darul Syifa' ni memang ade satu team khas membantu sekolah-sekolah yang diganggu ni. Umi cakap, gangguan start lepas sebatang pokok besar berdekatan dengan kawasan sekolah tu, ditebang oleh pihak majlis perbandaran. Semenjak ditebang, one by one anak murid dia diganggu. Even in broad daylight! Well, my mom's school pun bukan ada hostel. So, I think, the makhluk halus have no 'choice' but to attack the students during their class in progress. Sebelum panggil Ghost buster ni, adalah sorang ustaz ni tolong 'tangkap' and masukkan makhluk tu dalam botol. Aman la kejap sekolah Umi buat sementara waktu. Sejak kejadian tu, langsung Umi dah tak jadi nak stayback till after Maghrib like always. Adalah setengah jam bergossip pasal tu. :P Memanglah kita kena percaya makhluk halus ni. Semua makhluk Allah jugak. Tapi bila territory mereka diganggu, of course lah mereka mengamuk kan. Hmm.. seram pulak. Kena bace ayat kursi tiap-tiap hari ye.. Tiba-tiba teringat, patutlah masa trip pegi Melaka last month, ada satu pokok tu dia letak papan tanda tak boleh tebang.... hemm.....

P/s: Tapi titibe teringat, at the end of our conversation, Umi said mintak maaf banyak-banyak kalau ada salah silap...... hemm????

Parenting For Non Parents 101

One fine night, I had to babysit Princess Caca & Handsome Ryan, since their parents were working late, well they're going to buy Ferrari soon.... :P Caca wanted to watch cartoon movie, so I get her to pick which cartoon that she wanted. She picked, Peter Pan. Hey, it was my favorite childhood cartoon, and still my favorite until today! I didn't expect Caca to like such classic cartoon since they've been brought up with Monster Inc, Cars, Ratatouille, etc, you know, those kind of cartoons. To my surprise that they were so engrossed with the movie that they didn't realize am taking their photos. :) Am a pro paparazzi! 

I 'left' them with Peter Pan and went to the kitchen to do my chores. Later, when I was hanging my clothes, I heard somebody whimpering. It was Caca!! Engross la sangat! Meleset! Well semi-engross la. She managed to watch until Wendy and the Lost Boys caught by Capt Hook. Okay la tu. Anyways, I know Caca will go cranky if her Mummy is not home yet. So, I was trying to console her. Here's our conversation..

Mudd:  What's wrong, Caca?

Caca:     Where's Mummy, Auntie Mudd.

Mudd:   Owh, so sorry, she's still in the office. Mummy has lots of work to do, sayang.

Caca:     Why......?

(Auntie Mudd trying to handle this 'serious' situation in her own way)

Mudd: You like ballet, Caca?

Caca: Yes.......

Mudd: Then Mummy has to work. When she works she will get money. If she has money, she can pay for your ballet class.

(Caca didn't buy that answer and continue whimpering, Auntie Mudd tried again....)

Mudd:  What about books, you loves book right?

Caca: Yes......

Mudd: To buy books also need money. So Mummy & Daddy need to work to get money. Okay?

Caca: Then, I don't want book!

(TETT.. Mayday.. Mayday.......Adoi, be calm..be calm...I should be able to handle this!)

 Mudd: Okay, tell me what do you want. 

Caca: Can you change TV to my 'Junior'? (She meant, Astro 613-Disney Junior Channel)

Mudd: Owhhh........ erm.. cannn............

TV channel changed as requested and Caca back to normal. Haaahahahahahahaa....Moral of the story, sometimes, you don't have to be so complicated and no need for you to get kids to understand the real situation, because they won't understand. Kids will always be kids! 

Hmm, but sometimes Caca did talked like a grown up lady. She even said... "You know...." at the end of her conversation and when she did that, myself & Lisa will look at each other and make the 'wooooooooo' face :P

p/s: I love babysitting Caca & Ryan. I love Peter Pan! Hahaaa :)

Makbul ke Mabul :)

Alhamdulillah :) Yeahhhhh....Our next year's destination.....Mabul Island... Yupp..it's next year laaa!! I think it was our most dramatic ticket booking ever. Hahaha...It took us two days to book this ticket....And lo!!! we've booked the tiiiiiicket.. We've booked the tiiiickett... Hmmph..after our third attempt.

First attempt....Almost.......

Second attempt.......RED ALERT!! RED ALERT!! Pfftt....

As much as my friend was the one who was doing all the bookings, I was the one who has no patience!! I was the one who had no patience although my friend booked the tickets..TETTT! Well the truth is, I have never been booking any Air Asia tickets before...OOPss.. :P

Our Final attempt..........dup..dap.. dup dap....and  GOTCHA!!!!!

20 minutes have passed and up to this point, I couldn't bear it anymore. So, I told my colleague that I need to calm myself and pray more! So, 'selfishly', I left them... Well somebody needs to pray hard here! hahahaha.... And seriously I did! As I returned, there was no one at our....so called 'base.' We have one special 'base' a.k.a PC 'purposely' to book ticket. Normally, it's Wina's PC... Hahahahaaa :P With high hopes and expectations, I asked one of my colleague, "So, any luck, Yee??!" "Sorry, Madi, the page hang.." :( I don't know why.....but I think I've been over-reacted. I didn't say anything. I was so frustrated...I went back to my place and listen to this song.........

"When you try your best but you don't succeed........."   

And sorrow sank deep inside my blood.........Hahahahaaha...drama queen me! Over kan!!!!! :P Nampak sangat tak biasa book ticket!!! :P Too engrossed with my emotions, as if it was the end of the world!, I didn't realize Wina was giggling at the other side. Suddenly, Yee came and said, "Wina, I've sent the email that you asked.." Co-incidentally, I was refreshing my mail too and I saw one email from Yee with attachment of Booking Number.... bla bla bla... Ape lagi... I screamed on top of my lung laaaaaa.........and jump like a monkey!! Amboi... biase ye mereka berdua berkomplot!! And to conclude the drama, Wina did said, "Kak Madi, GOTCHA!!!" 

Dan sepantas kilat.....I updated my FB.. huuhuu.....

Phewhhh.... apalah...next year kot...macam-macam boleh jadi kan.. 

But I really..really want to go to this Mabul Island.. Semoga Allah mempermudahkannya...... Amin...

p/s: Apepun we are still going to Pangkor in June! Insyaallah!!!

Suri telah menerima pesanan SMS dari seseorang. Lalu dia pun berbalas SMS dengan seseorang itu....

Seseorang:  

Lama tak borak dengan you. I ade benda nak update you ni. I rase I dah tersuka seseoranglah. Tapi orang ni tak selalu ada KL. I selalu terjebak dengan cinta jarak jauh ni.

Suri:

Ofis mate ke? Macam mana boleh jumpe dia?

Seseorang:

Owh, adelah :P Sekarang pun dia tak ada kat Malaysia.

Suri:

Dia tau tak you suka dia?

Seseorang:

Macam tau kot, lagipun dia dulu yang suke kat I. Tapi dia bukan taste I langsung laa.

Suri:

Then, just wait and see jelah. Anyways, anak-anak you semua ape crita? Sihat? Dah lewat ni, you tak balik lagi? Bukan selalu your husband amik ke?

Seseorang:

Owh, I ada keje sikit ni, anak-anak I okay Alhamdulillah, I dah cakap kat husband I tak payah amik hari ni, keje banyak kan...I tumpang my colleague je. My husband bolehlah tengok-tengokkan budak-budak...Memang selalu pun dia yang jaga...

Suri:

Ooh, bagus la husband you tu ye.

Seseorang:

Biasalah, husband I. Okay lah, pape I update pasal si Dia tu ya. You take care.

Suri:

Bye.

Recap # 2 - The 30 Carat Gold :)

Yeah last month on 18th January, I turned 30 :) Alhamdulillah. :) I've received a thousand wishes on my Facebook wall, exaggerating and I considered this year's birthday, the most special birthday.. huhuu...

I've receive birthday wishes from my family and friends as early as 12 a.m. Erm, Lily special case, she sent at 11.45 pm if am not mistaken. Mengantuk sangat katanya :P Thx, Wak :)

For the first time in my entire birthday also, as far I remembered la, this birthday I received birthday wish from my Uwan. Well, I can't be expecting to get her to call me every year to wish for my birthday kan....Uwan kot? It's not common in my family. Haha..   So what happened was, co-incidentally my cousin called me and she happened to be with my Uwan. So, I said to myself, this is my most special birthday and am considering myself as the most lucky and special cucu...ewah~ am carrying my own basket again....  :)

Anyways, on my birthday, I woke up macam biasa. As I'm going to my bathroom.... I saw something scribbled on my white board. 

 

 

 

  

Hahaaa....terbantut hasrat nak mandi.. I grabbed my handphone and..snap..snap..snap.. :)

I didn't expect for any celebration to be organized by my colleagues,  seriously. I knew we were going to have lunch together since CNY was around the corner.Moreover, there are three January 'babies' in my department, Halim on 5th, myself on 18th and Akmal on 27th. So, I thought we're going to celebrate on 27th. :) Meleset.

And then, here comes the birthday cake....... I heard this cake had made Wina to go through so many hassle to get this cake. Thanks again, Dek. :)

Yeah, happy birthday to me :) Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah.

A few nights before my birthday, I did some spring cleaning in my bedroom. Guess what, I found my 14th birthday card. Classic! Sent by my Auntie, Che De while he was studying in Denver, Colorado. :) So sweet! She never forget my birthday. She even remembered the entire family's birthday :) She gave me some token for my birthday and I feel 14 again! Hahahaaa...

 

P/S: Even Abah wished my birthday, on time, for the first time. Itu pun sebab I asked Aiman to sms my father to tell him that, that day was my birthday and he must call me! Hahaha.. the demanding side of me :) Huuhuuu...

Recap # 1 : Aku, Wina & Yuna...

Weewoooo........Sempena waktu lunch yang panjang on this lovely Friday, why not I recap one of my previous activities that I suppose to update sometime last month - Yuna Showcase at DBKL Auditorium that I've 'accidentally' attended. Thank You, Wina and to Mak Chek Matchek too... :P However, due to wrong turn here and there, we arrived half an hour late for the show. Huh, so called KL folks huh... Pftt... Anyways, since we've arrived late, we have missed a few songs, including Random Awesome, I think :(. The moment we found our seat, without wasting any time, I took out my '2.0 Megapixel' and Wina's camera too, I snap as many photos as I could until Yuna's manager came to me and said, "Sorry, tak boleh amik gambar ye." Ooopss..Tu la dah datang lambat, tak sempat dengar 'taklimat' :P Despite the crowd was quite....quiet, even Yuna said so, we enjoyed her performance, well I enjoyed it very much. Macam mana dalam CD, macam tu la suara Yuna live....Awesome.. Here's our awesome photos... huhuhuu...
