New Week New Workplace - Part 1

Everything seems to be so new last Monday. I woke up earlier than usual, new wakey-wakey time. New wakey alarm song - MUSE, Neutron Stars Collision, has done great job to wake me up ;p I've decided to drive to my new workplace on my first day. The road that I took was quite clear, to my surprise. Monday blues lagi for KL folks I guess. Here goes my new Monday....

NEW ROUTE

The moment I drove into Jalan Ampang, serious rase berdebar macam nak pegi exam!

New scenery ;p Lepas ni muak la tengok bangunan ni ;p

Seketika blur... Gamba ni kat area mane ye. Aiyo dlm gamba pun boleh lost ;p

NEW 'MENARA'

Tada! Selamat datang ke Menara Perak ;)

Yup, this is the name of my new company. FPSO have 4 floors all together - 8th to 11th floor and HR Dept is at 11th floor ;)

NEW DEPARTMENT

Culture shock seketika sebab they're using Microsoft Outlook. Seketika 'menggagau' to familiarize it. Maklumlah...brape lama pakai Lotus Notes. Huhuhu.. No user profile, no database, no nothing. Heh heh heh, Good Luck, Mudd ;p

Okey, serious, I was so 'jakun' okey.. Ade access card seh.. Tho I was borrowing my colleague's, still...am so curious.. wakakakakkaaa..kesian kesian...

This is the layout of my department. PC memasing semua mengadap boss memasing ye ;) This floor consist 3 departments - IT, Admin & HR. Belah depan tu is IT & Admin Dept.

Layout building ni memang memanjang, tho tak la luas mana. Still, another culture shock sbb HR Dept bukan dalam aquarium, and the filing room, tak nampak mana file-file nya. Semua well-kept. In-fact, whole department is sharing one printer, so tak kisah orang nak lalu lalang kat area HR. To me.. I feel so.. amazing.. hehe...Well, guess I've been too long in the 'aquarium.' ;p But I guess, maybe sebab HR kat sini tak ade payroll, their payroll is in Finance Dept.

NEW TEAM

Meet my new boss. Well, tak la new mane pun. She was my former colleague in HR dulu while I was doing Recruitment ;p She was my mentor before. Tapi sebenarnya, my big bos, the General Manager HR is Omar. Dia pemalu la, tak nak amik gambar. Dia pun, was my ex-boss in Mesiniaga before. What more can I say? :)

NEW EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION

Coincidently, my 1st day in FPSO is my orientation day. I've gotten the group assignment to present on "My First Impression on My First Day" Alah, kacang je, memang lah bagi impression tu secarea LIVE. Kekekekeke...

Our group name is WAKA WAKA. Tengah mood bola la katakan. Cuba teka sape yang bagi nama group ni ;)

The Waka Waka - Myself, Najat, Man & Hafizul. Sporting habis!! We've done a good sketch. Previously I've been arranging New Employee Orientation, sekarang sendiri kena... ;p

NEW LESSON

For the first time, pegi kerja kena simpan parking ticket!Dah la jenis suke misplaced ticket! Dengan pantas terus masukkan dalam handbag, siap zip! Wakakaka. I've been told that the parking area that I've picked cost RM 6 per entry. My bad for not 'mengkaji' dengan lebih teliti. I really thought I need to pay RM6 only. But that rase was only valid till 6.30pm. I hang out with my collegue until 7.30 pm and guess what, I had to pay RM12 for my parking!! ERkkk..Tobat tanak park situ dah. Tapi in KL, mana ada parking murah. So, another new mission for me tomorrow..... ;)

p/s: Until today, I still can't believe that am already working in KL......
